A crayfish party is a traditional summertime eating and drinking celebration in the Nordic countries. The tradition originated in Sweden, where a crayfish party is called a kräftskiva. The tradition has also spread to Finland via the Swedish-speaking population of that country.
Crayfish parties are generally held during August, a tradition that started because crayfish harvesting in Sweden was, for most of the 20th century, legally limited to late summer.

Today, the “kräftpremiär” date in early August has no legal significance. Dining is traditionally outdoors, but in practice the party is often driven indoors by bad weather or aggressive mosquitoes:) Customary party accessories are comical paper hats, paper tablecloths, paper lanterns (often depicting the Man in the Moon), and bibs. A rowdy atmosphere prevails amid noisy eating and traditional drinking songs (snapsvisa). It is culturally correct to suck the juice out of the crayfish before shelling it.

We have been talking about getting our own SIM for about year now.
Finally it has become a reality!

Come with me on a journey through the creation of the Boingo SIM.

We started brainstorming! How about this? No! How about that?

Jeela is the creator and I am the thinker. We both know that absolutely nothing happens when I think so she began building.
Some days passed and then Jeela IM:d me… "Come Look!"
She had made a typical Boingo store! Wonderful!!

Jeela had made such a cool texture. It looked like as if the light were floating from the roof and base mouldings.

Everything was really nice and cool! But… The more Jeela built, the more I realized what a hard work it would be for me to make all the vendors look right on the round walls. Should I maybe rebuild them to fit the walls? I felt terrible when I gave my input. Am I so amazingly lazy? Jeela laughed, but soon realized what I meant. Let me think she said.

A few days later she presented a SIM for me. We were very excited and happy!

Jeela had really been thinking and she sent me a sketch of her new idea for the store building. It looked absolutely wonderful and I asked her to continue building it.

When the foundation was finished, I started planning the interior design.

We talked about several different styles that we wanted for the house and tried lots of different textures. Since Jeela is good at this we decided that she would have a free hands.

One day when I logged in I had an IM from Jeela. “Go see what you think!” I was completely thunderstruck! It was beyond my imagination! It felt like coming home!

Indie Rock for RFL is back for a second year to bring together music and design to raise funds and awareness for Relay for Life, benefitting the American Cancer Society.

Last year we raised over a million Linden dollars in a weekend, this year we're coming back bigger and better, hoping to do even more!

Please join us for five days of music spun around the clock, brought to you by some of the finest indie music DJs in SL! Our double-sim carnival features interactive amusement park creations from Carnivale by Atom Burma, shopping on the boardwalk filled with items generously donated by over fifty of your favorite SL designers, live concert performances, auctions, and more!

The park opens at 11am SLT on May 13, runs through...as long as you want to be here, on May 17. 100% of all proceeds from the entire event goes directly to Relay for Life, so come out to dance and donate, an amazing party for a very important and worthwhile cause. See you there!

Well we split and last Sunday I went to his wedding as his best man… or what ever you call it.

New vendor for the Skin Store

I had no idea people actually followed this blog. As a total surprise they asked me to write in English again so…
OK!

Today when Jeela and I met we asked the great scripter Miros Torok to come and help us setup his new vendor. Miros made a great vendor that will help us so much with the prims. Instead of 26 prims for each vendor we are down to 2 prims. That will help us so much!!

Jeela read and did every step in the notecard Miros made. He guided us in voice and I must say it’s amazing that we can all talk to each other even though we are on separate places in the world.

Soon you will see it on our store!!

Tänk att det kan bli så ensamt när ens sambo lämnar SL för en vecka...

Jag har inte varit inne i SL mycket alls utan jobbat som en galning både rl och med Boingo för att kunna välkomna honom hem och spendera tid när han kommer tillbaka.

Musse är i Seattle och har haft en underbar vecka där med både jobb och härliga utflykter. Han är väl värd den ledighet han fått! Jag unnar honom verkligen detta! Men... Nu tycker jag att det är dags att han kommer hem. Får man vara så egoistisk? Äh.. det är ju bara för att jag saknar honom. Ön blir så stor och det har varit hopplöst svårt att sköta allt själv. Tänk bara på all sand som ska krattas!

Ja det känns som att det är dags för det.

Allt som händer på Boingo skriver jag ju nu om i bloggen för Boingo in my closet.
Det är verkligen jätteroligt att skriva om mode fast på ett annurlunda sätt. Dessutom så har ju det jag skriver om där hamnat på rätt ställe.
Denna bloggen skulle ju handla om mitt liv inte om mitt jobb!

Blockula (Blåkulla in modern Swedish) was a legendary meadow where the Devil held his Earthly court during a witches' Sabbat. This meadow could only be reached by a magical flight. It was described as "a delicate large Meadow, whereof you can see no end".
There was said to be a large gate located in the meadow that lead to a smaller meadow. In the smaller meadow there stood a house. In an enormous room in this house: "[…] there stood a very long Table, at which the Witches did sit down: And […] hard by this Room was another Chamber, where there were very lovely and delicate Beds."
The Devil was dressed "in a gray Coat, and red and blue Stockings: He had a red Beard, a high-crown’d Hat, with Linnen of divers Colours, wrapt about it, and long Garters upon his Stockings". The Devil then "would go with them that he liked best, into a Chamber, where he committed venerous Acts with them: and this indeed all confessed, That he had carnal knowledge of them, and that the Devil had Sons and Daughters by them, which he did Marry together, and they did couple, and brought forth Toads and Serpents."
Blockula plays a major part in the Witch-hunts described in Joseph Glanvill's 1682 work, Sadducismus Triumphatus. This book detailed Blockula in an Appendix entitled: True Account of What Happen’d in the Kingdom of Sweden In the Years 1669, 1670, and upwards: In Relation to some Persons that were accused for Witches; and Tryed and Executed By the King’s Command.
Blockula is originally the same place as the island Blå Jungfrun, which was in old days called Blåkulla, and since medieval days rumored to be a place were the witches gathered. The perhaps first time Blockula was mentioned in a witch trial by an alleged witch was in 1597, but in reality, it was not until the witch mania of 1668-1676 that the place had any real importance in the persecution of witches.

Before I logged into SL I never thought I could get friends for life in there.
I really didn’t think one could get as close to somebody as in RL or even closer.

People say an SL month is as a year in RL and in some ways that is true. So why is that? Do these relations go on after SL? I don’t know and I don’t wanna analyze that right now. I’m just seeing it happen and I feel lost.

One of my friends in SL has actually gotten closer than any friend in RL and right now she has such a difficult time. If this was in RL I could hug her, take a coffee and sit and listen and be there. Now I am totally helpless! I can’t BE THERE!

My tears are running and I send as much love through universe as I can but still… I’m not there! This is a challenge for me. I’m always there for everyone that asks for my love and warmth and now I can’t………..

Well… I AM holding you in my arms in my sleep ‘cos then you are awake…

Yeti is back alive and kickin'

San Francisco!
What a city!! I am forever in love!!
I have been waiting so long to meet Jeela and I have seen the picture in front of me many times when I finally hold her in my arms. Nothing was like that picture I can tell you that! LOL I saw her from a distance and I just felt… I’m home! She is truly my sister and she is as wonderful in RL as she is in SL. The only difference is that her pixels in RL are more perfect! She is beautiful!! LOL

When we got to her car we just laughed! Look at that plate!! Hahaha…

We were very tired when we got there and couldn’t think straight cos we had been up 26 hours. My hubby placed our suitcases right behind her and of cos she fell backwards over them and landed on her back. I took the trolley and ran off as fast as I could cos I laughed so much. She just laid there and laughed!! She fell for my hubby so to speak!

First day we got up early after 12 hours sleep and were ready to explore SF. We first got to China Town and had such luck! They celebrated the New Year so it was quite a party there. Later in the evening we got stuck in the New Years parade on Market Street and I was in heaven!! It was so cool!!!

We rested our feet many times in this pub. Amazing staff and the location is perfect on Union Street next to Washington Square Park just below Coit Tower. If u need to go to the restroom? Beware! The door says HOPS and BARLEY. Its not easy to know which to go to when you are used to “Ladies and Gentlemen” and of cos I went in to the guys restroom… and yes I had to excuse myself!!!

I finally got to see Victoria’s Secret for real and I showed them our collection of lingerie and in the autumn you can see ”The Boingo’s’” there! Jeela even promised to make a new line exclusively for them. You will of cos have the VIP right it in the headquarter store first!

They had a PINK store right next to it…. I was thinking of my darling friend Smokanda Panacek all the time. She loves pink! I miss you girl!!!

I think I have walked all over SF! My eyes rolled in my head in the evenings when I went to bed. I really wanted to see how Jeela did when she made our clothes and I was looking for something special to show her that she could make as a memory from this trip. One day I found these boots. Jeela knows I hate leopard texture! Only women over 40 wear it in Sweden. The Jurassic league! Hahaha!

Instead I found this great vest up on Haight Ashbury. Please Jeela make this vest for me in burnt leather!!!

And she did!!! She also made it for you guys!

We went past Cloud 9 and I started to dance at once!! Thought it was the Club in SL and my hubby told me to stop at once! Yeti!! This is not a club it’s a smoke shop!

Damn! I really wanted to dance……

Lombard Street… I went up all the way from the bottom of this street and now I understand why they have that sign there! Ppl actually live here and its amazing places. I am jealous!

I love the architecture in this city. I gasped many times. Yes I am in love! When I saw the “7 sisters” for real (seen them on series on TV before) I sat down for a while. So many details! I am stunned… not just by these houses but the architecture over all.

Yep! We found Linden Street! I thought Linden Lab would be here but my hubby told me they moved.
Jeela and Zody looked it up and found where they moved so the next day we went there. Cool office and nice ppl working there! And it’s amazing… Jeela and Zody had their iPhone and iPod. Inside Linden Lab secondlife.com didn’t work but as soon we got outside we connected. LOL They lag even inside the office!!! And now I will never get any help ever again from them… :(

Jeela knows how much I love the STAR WARS so she took me to Lukas Arts and I almost freaked out! WOW!!! Me and Yoda himself!!!!

I told Yoda I admire him and he answered me...
"How you get so big, eating food of this kind? When nine hundred years old you reach, look as good, you will not. At an end your rule is... and not short enough it was."

Time to leave California! I have seen so much more and spent a great time with Jeela!

Yeti goes to San Francisco!!

Almost 2 years ago (June 2 2007) I was in a shoe shop in SL and up to me came a gorgeous woman. I was busy shopping so of cos she had to wait for me to answer her… Typical Yeti! Well we started talking and we had just a short time cos she was in a hurry.
There was something different about her. She wanted to meet the next day again so we did. From that moment on we have been on a journey and we still are.

Tomorrow I’m going to San Francisco to meet her IRL!
I can’t believe its true! I’m really going to meet Jeela Juran’s IRL alt, my wonderful and talented business partner at Boingo. At 2.30 pm SLT I’ll be hugging her! I have only seen one IRL picture of her so I guess I’ll be searching ‘til my eyes bleed. She has seen some more pictures of me but I have lost 77 pounds since those photos and I am no longer dark… I’m blonde! LOL how will we ever find each other??

The other day I cleaned my inventory. I’m a member of groups that send out many gifts and I was way behind cleaning… My dear friend Musse Placebo sent me an IM and I started sending him all kinds of stuff that I didn’t need anymore and some fun stuff I thought he would laugh about. I found a *Philip Linden* that someone made and I had no idea where I got it from but I sent it to him. He asked as kind as only he can do… “Yeti, I never knew you had skeletons in your closet. Do you want me to bury him for u?” I laughed and said “Would you be so kind?” The day after Musse proudly announced… MISSION COMPLETED!!

Some time ago my darling friend Ceri Watkins recommended a new place for men’s clothing in SL. I went there and totally fell in love with everything in the store. First time I got there I met the owner and creator, Maruko Sakigake. He was very friendly and he knew I was coming since Ceri told him I would show up. We spoke for awhile and I told him I would come back and just the other night I did.

I came to WMD cos I wanted Anders to see this amazing collection of clothes and boots. When we got there Maruko and his gf Oriel was there. We started chatting and Anders and I went off into the store. Then Maruko did an amazing thing!!!

Maruko!! YOU have a heart of gold! I am still stunned and amazed over your generosity!! I hope all ppl that read this will come to you and buy it all! I know we will!

Go see this store! Its great stuff for men and some for girls too.

Jesper's & Ewa's Glorious Night!

Over a month ago I got an invitation to a wedding!

I usually love to go to weddings but this time I didn’t look forward to it at all…

Just days before I got the invite A.K. and I broke up and I felt like the loneliest person in SL. Should I really go? What would ppl say? Jesper (the groom) talked a lot to me and convinced me to come. I don’t even think he knew how much he helped me those days… He said to me… “If you bring a date just let me know”… like I would ever…. LOL.
Well I went and that without a date and I can say I didn’t and still don’t regret it for a second!
What a wonderful wedding and what a wonderful night!

After the wedding we went to the Ice Hotel! Dancing, good music and a lovely couple!

When I came to the ceremony I met Bock McMillan!
We had spoken once before and I asked him to sit next to me. His husband was working and I was there alone. I was so happy he say down next to me. At the party he took really good care of me and we… tried to…dance! LOL
We had a lot of fun with those dance balls!

First I broke his neck and then he broke my back!

Jesper and Ewa had invited the best singers I heard in SL!
I wrote down the names so I should remember it ‘til I wrote this blog but... I forgot.. Jesper will you pls help me? One pic was all I got cos the other girl never rezzed for me!

And to be honest... I left the party for 20 minutes to... well... hmmm....

I helped my darling Anders to dress up. Ewa and Jesper invited him even though he came very late!

The fireworks were amazing!!

Swedish Lucia and Christmas Market - in Second Life - 2008: 12 - 13th December.

After last year's huge success, Lucia visits Second Life again in 2008!

Every year on December 13, Santa Lucia arrives in Sweden to announce the Christmas season. This year, she will once again visit Second Life as well - and the festivities start - PLEASE NOTE THE DATE!! -->>> Friday evening, December 12 <<<---

The Lucia celebration features a procession led by a woman representing Saint Lucia, who — dressed in white robes, with a headdress of candles — repels the darkness with a halo of light. The procession is accompanied by the singing of traditional Swedish songs.

The Lucia event in Second Life gives participants an opportunity to meet a real Swedish Lucia, listen to her entourage of singers, see a Christmas tree, visit Santa, visit a HUGE Christmas market (18 Swedish designers at one place!), receive Swedish freebie gifts, and dance to Swedish and international music, including live performances.

By tradition, the identity of this year's Lucia is a well-protected secret until the December 12.

When: The procession will be held twice: First, on December 12, 1pm Second Life time (4pm New York time, 10pm Stockholm time); the procession is then repeated four hours later at 5pm SLT (8pm in NYC, 2am in Stockholm on 13 December)

Where: Second House of Sweden, on the Swedish Institute - Best are to TP to orientation SIM

Organizers of this year's Lucia event in Second Life are Ika Cioc, Ewa Aska, Charlotte Rhino, Belze Fraker, Cur Waydelich and producer Tina (PetGirl) Bergman.

0 pm - Junivers Stockholm - from the now so well known "The Ring" performance in SL. Junivers plays acustic live with 99% of his own material. He also does electric live with backtracks he composed and plays all instruments (drums via midi-keyboard).

3pm Grace McDunnough - Grace is an artist, musician and virtual world experience developer. Creator of Musimmersion, founder of the Mill Pond Folk Festival and regularly performing live musician in the virtual world of Second Life, Grace is dedicated embracing virtual worlds to combine the emotional response of audio and visual immersion to deliver unique experiences around the grid.

4pm - Ayden Kruh - Ayden is a musician and a mystic at heart. He approaches life with an open mind, firmly rooted in his identity. As a singer/songwriter, he combines new folk/americana influences with neo-soul vocal melodies to share his take on life, love, faith, pain, ect.

5pm - Lucia 2 / Disco until the sun are seen again... a long night to come!

Some trace the "re-birth" of the Lucia celebrations in Sweden to the tradition in German Protestant families of having girls dressed as angelic Christ children, handing out Christmas presents. The Swedish variant of this white-dressed "Kindchen Jesus", or Christkind, was called "Kinken Jes", and started to appear in upper-class families in the 1700s on Christmas Eve with a candle-wreath in her hair, handing out candy and cakes to the children. In Lucia procession in the home depicted by Carl Larsson in 1908 (illustration, above), the oldest daughter brings coffee and St. Lucia buns to her parents, while wearing a candle-wreath and singing a Lucia song. Other daughters may help, dressed in the same kind of white robe and carrying a candle in one hand, but only the oldest daughter wears the candle-wreath.

The modern tradition of having public processions in the Swedish cities started in 1927 when a newspaper in Stockholm elected an official Lucia for Stockholm that year. The initiative was then followed around the country through the local press. Today most cities in Sweden appoint a Lucia every year; schools elect a Lucia and her maids among the students; and a national Lucia is elected on national television from regional winners. The regional Lucias will usually visit local shopping malls, old people's homes and churches, singing and handing out ginger snaps. Recently there was some discussion whether it was suitable if the national Lucia was not a blonde Caucasian, but it was decided that ethnicity should not be a problem, and in the year 2000 an adopted non-white girl was crowned the national Lucia

There are now also boys in the procession, playing different roles associated with Christmas. Some may be dressed in the same kind of white robe, but with a coneshaped hat decorated with golden stars, called "stjärngossar" (star boys); some may be dressed up as "tomtenissar", carrying lanterns; and some may be dressed up as gingerbread men. They participate in the singing and also have a song or two of their own, usually Staffan Stalledräng, which tells the story about Saint Stephen, the first Christian martyr, caring for his five horses.

A traditional kind of bun, Lussekatt (St. Lucia Bun), made with saffron, is normally eaten on this day.

Although St. Lucia's Day is not an official holiday in Sweden, it is a popular occasion in Sweden. The Lucia evening and night is a notoriously noisy time. High school students often celebrate by partying all through the night.
The Swedish lyrics to the Neapolitan song Santa Lucia have traditionally been either Natten går tunga fjät (The Night walks with heavy steps) or Sankta Lucia, ljusklara hägring (Saint Lucy, Bright Illusion). There is also a modern version with easier text for children: Ute är mörkt och kallt (Outside it's dark and cold).

Why do ppl get married in Second Life?
Are there such things as a perfect wedding in SL?

June 2007 a friend of mine went to a wedding….
Here is his mail to me afterwards.

“The wedding was so... messed up.
The Dj couldn’t log in so no music.
The minister crashed in the middle of vows and didn’t come back.
The photographer had a fuzzy screen, textures didn’t load or something so I ended up taking all the wedding pictures!
I don’t understand why people try to recreate RL in SL.
It just causes problems. An SL wedding should use the things SL is good at so it goes smoothly.”

Why this does comes up in my mind again?
Well last night Abe asked me to marry him, to be his wife and to live the rest of my SL with him and only him.

I said YES!! of cos…
Didn’t even hesitate for a sec.

“We have had so much fun together and we have gone through so many crises…
Yeti... Together we are invincible”

He is right!
We did it all… the good and the bad and yet… here we are and it’s better than ever.
If you never try you never gain!
Yeti come on… how bad can it get? Either we make it or…

In the beginning of my life in SL I told my self… try everything once. Keep what’s good and leave whats bad.

So!
Now we have a wedding to plan and it won’t be messed up!

I have spent my weekend thinking about what Second Life really is. I have been talking to many ppl about their experiences. I can’t really get it out of my system. I mean all this pain and anxieties that I see in here. I had to go see what Linden Lab say about it. If you go to http://secondlife.com/whatis/ to see what SL is you find the following text…

“Second Life® is a 3-D virtual world created by its Residents. Since opening to the public in 2003, it has grown explosively and today is inhabited by millions of Residents from around the globe.”

They are right! It’s us residents that create it all. All from the virtual environment to how we treat one another… But they don’t mention anything about what this world can do to you. Good and bad! It’s maybe not in their interest or not even their responsibility. I don’t know could have been me that didn’t find it. I don’t even think that anyone can understand what it’s like if you never have been interacting in SL.

Still ppl get hurt badly in here. Is it that we all don’t speak the same language? Projections? Can it be that some of us are training on skills we don’t own in RL? I am straight forward in RL and have no fear of conflicts there. In SL I could definitely be harder and not so damn polite and kind all the time. But do I train on others in here? Sure I do! Do I have the right? Yes I’d like to think so as long as I don’t hurt anyone else.

So why do we get hurt in here? Are we too sensitive? Ppl tell me that they separate SL and RL and when they turn off the computer the feelings stay in there. Hmmm… is that possible? For some but not for me. I myself have been here for about 20 months now and think I have done it all too. All phases and even been hurt. Some of my best friends in RL are from here. Have I met them? Nooooo not all of them but I love them deeply! Now is that possible? Yes thanks to voice, MSN, webcam, phones and SMS.

A very wise person told me... "SL is not a game to me, I always know there's a human heart behind every avatar I interact with in here, and I interact with that - the avatar is a house for it, just like the flesh body in RL is."

I will probably think about this some more and I hope to speak to more ppl about it cos it interest me a great deal.

So to all my friends out there and to the rest of you…
Take care of each other! Be nice and leave the drama at the door… or off the keyboard!

Sometimes everything happens all at the same time.

I mean… the same weekend as we opened our wonderful skin store, Trojanvirus had an exhibition with some of his stuff. Well to be honest, it was only about a 1/5 of his stuff maybe. In my inventory I got a folder with more stuff of his that I can count.

Jeela and I made an area in our Headquarter for Trojanvirus’s gadgets. I wish that that area was huge so all SL could see how talented this man is. Not just the Swedes! He makes me feel like I wanna go inside his brain and see what happens there. His brain is definitely something else then the rest of ours.

Btw… Abe’s soup kitchen was there too. And at the bottom you see my own “Yeti race bicycle strykboard”.

My morning started at 5am with an AC/DC concert.
Yes u heard me right...
Abe and I wanted to go to that concert and if u live in Sweden that’s the way it is.
So… 5am in Sweden = 8pm SLT.
Abe had to leave very soon but I stayed and danced my brains out.
When they began to play "Highway to Hell" literally all hell broke loose!!!
The arena caught fire and the sound was devastating!
SO COOL!!!

Later in the morning I met Wizanna Hax. We hadn’t seen each other since her wedding. What a lovely woman! In the back of my head I knew that she had started a furniture shop but... too much to do and think about I guess. She took me there and showed me around and I was impressed. They sell everything from prefab houses to rugs and everything in between. She even built the boat they got married on!! Well that’s not in the store! Wiz… u grow in my heart every time we meet.

They do customized work so go visit them!

Way to go Wiz and Janey! Congrats to ur new and great store.

We pulled it off!
To celebrate we had a great party for those Boingo fans that still was awake.

Smokanda Panaceck had made the skybox look so cool!
The chairs and the dance balls were on the walls so we could have more room for wild dancing and other stuff on the floor!

I woke up early. Got into SL and checked what Jeela did after I went to bed last night. The teleporters were up and all last things fixed. She did a great job!

I talked a bit with a friend who helped me with the group notice. Sent that and stood in the store... All was calm and I could hear the wind...

Then the first person showed up and then the next and for the first 3, 5 hours there were ppl all the time! All were so nice and told us we both did a good job! Those comments made it worth all the hard work! I counted to 321 small faces that I put skins, fingernail gloves, eyes, shapes, LM and notecards into. No wonder I have dreamed about lipstick and vendors for the last days! LOL!

Here we are standing talking while ppl are in the rooms looking at the skins.

I took a break from the store. Went out looking at LM's that I got from our customers. When I got back I met Paul Maracas at the skin store. He asked for men's skin and I told him... they will be here soon. That's what's the closed doors are for. We went down to the main store and looked at clothes. He told me he had been into SL for 4 years! I asked him about skins thru the years and he took me thru a journey! WOW! First there were no skins at all and then came the female skins. Like Linden Lab were GOD and created the female first!! What a world it could be haha!

Wanna know more about SL skins thru the years? IM Paul Maracas. He is sweet and kind and has the best laugh ever!!!!

In the past Boingo only dabbled in skins, partly to see what we could pull off, and partly because we wanted unique skins for ourselves.

But the time has come, after so many requests for more more more...

Saturday, August 2nd... 3am SLT.

We'll send everyone an LM to the newly created BOINGO SKIN STORE.

Skins have been upgraded, include shapes and eyes and fingernail gloves and have all been expanded to 12 makeup styles per tone, with exotic makeup styles to come.

Making nails...

Jeela and I are making progress!

Right now she is asleep but I guess she will be awake in an hour starting making a new skin for men. So in the meantime I am making all the nails for the female skins. I'm soon done!!

For fun and to learn I made nails with the Boingo logo on. I saw it was really bad but I'd thought I'd show Jeela before throwing the idea away. She is a pro, I am just learning and I thought she could have an idea how to make it look sharp. First it took a long time for her to rez and when she saw it she said to me as soft as only she can when I screw up... "I think it looks like blood on the finger Yeti"! She is so wonderful. I guess the customers at Boingo will never wear nails with the logo on. LOL!

When Len (Yeti's mom) make nails in Photoshop, me Yeti am in meditation at the store. It's relaxing and as soon as I start uploading the nails there are no more time for meditation.

Last nail almost done!! WOOT!!

I have heard so many ppl talk about their inventories as mazes.
How hard can it be?
Make a folder, call it BOINGO and buy all the clothes from us and put all clothing folders into THAT folder...

Boingo group invitation...

Last 2 couple of days I have invited 162 persons to the Boingo group. It takes so much time but for everyone that joins us I get so happy!

That means that our next little project has a chance to grow successful!

Spoke to Trojanvirus this evening. He had made a very fun thing for Abe. Abe Kondor's soup kitchen!
He can have it around his tummy and walk around and serve the homeless in SL!!! Hahaha...
Half an hour later he had put... ehhh what's the word... OMG it's so late... He had put handles? on it so Abe can walk around with it like a barrow. Trojan will look for a script so Abe actually can hold it and walk. He is so talented!!!

We really must expend, extend? that part of the store!

Boingo skin store

Its very late night now in Sweden... morning rather...

What a day!

I started with the second room in the new skin store today.
It's so much work but sooo fun!
Talked to Jeela for a long time and sometimes I think she will break from all the pressure!
She is spending so many hours doing all those skins.
We discuss every detail, part of makeup and shadows and she's really a perfectionist. Well I can't say I'm better... "See that line and this and that and this and that." I am glad she stands me... lol!
I spoke to a customer the other day and she said that "THE SKINS in SL" comes from another creator.
I just see all those details we have that noone else have. Our skins look so real!! Jeela is such a pro!
I really hope for her sake that those skins sell!
Well well, 2 rooms are done! Only 6 more to go!

Ireland Quiz!

Last saturday I went in to SL and made a quiz.

I never did this by my self.
Well of cos I spoke to Jeela before but u know..
Did I do the sign right? Did I spell right? Was the script I put in the right one?
Well I did it and sent a notice to the Boingo group.

Within 5 sec. the store had 3 ppl coming.
I had not even left the place where I hidden the quiz...
And then there came some more and later the same day there were even more.
I was soo happy! Still am of cos!
I love to see how dedicated the members of our group are!

What's another year...

So... I am finally a blogger?
I hope I will learn this and start writing here often!

Over a year has gone by in Second Life and what a year!
So much has happened and I really dunno where to start or how to begin.

It was hard in the beginning. Trying to understand the interface. Things I just do as a normal thing every day today like open things and saving to inventory... Hahaha, it took me forever to understand! My creator, who works as an ICT teacher/development leader, thought this was the end... But, I managed and here I am now. I have accomplished so much and I am so proud of my self. Overcoming fears and learning about real life in a game? Well YES I do!!

But most of all I remember all the people I've met!
The ones that made a footprint in my soul. Some are still there and some, most actually, has taken another path in SL.
It breaks my heart to see how many lonely and hurt souls there are out there in SL. But I thank God for bringing them to me and am glad if I can help in some way. But sad to say... its hard to be there for everyone.

So many has made a huge impression and I can't name all of them here but I am gonna tell u about one of them.

In July 2007 we started Boingo at Insane Mall. Yes it's been totally insane! How far we come, what we have accomplished, all ppl we met and most of all... our friendship! We have never met in RL but it is on our "TO DO-list" for the coming year. I have only seen her on one picture but we talk in voice very often and of cos it's about Boingo but even more about life. I have never thought a friendship could develop over the internet but I must say... I have changed my mind. America is sooo lucky to have u sweet Jeela! U make that country and the multiverse richer!
